It looks like the big impact is on movies that open the same weekend, which won't apply for AVNG4

My interpretation of STAR7 is that it was so frontloaded that it stole box office from ALVN4 and TNEST in the opening weekend. Those movies had HUGE delist multipliers. Similar thing happened in 2017 with STAR8 and FERDN. As a result, I would expect CATS, SNTEL, and FAIRB to all have delist multipliers in the 5x range (due to STAR9).

Does someone know how a release like Endgame typically affects the multipliers of movies opening just before & after it? {nm} forlorne Apr 17, 13:39

AVNG3 doesn't seem to have near the effect I thought it might. Deadpool still had >2X OW, Overboard nearly 3X, Book club >4X forlorne Apr 18, 11:53

I think a lot of the screens AVNG4 and similarly hyped blockbusters would dominate are the premium ones. There are plenty of screens to go RogerMore Apr 18, 12:38
