I started playing in 1998. Just shy of 25 years later, $5-billion. Pretty hilarious journey to get there:
1B: 14 years
2B: 4 years
3B: 3 years
4B: 3 years
5B: 1 year
Not really sure what happened in the last year. Did I get much better at playing or does buying sheer quantity accelerate your portfolio much faster? For sure I got much better at shorting during the pandemic (thank you Warner Bros., streaming services and Lightyear), and got very on top of KaiGee's site about five years ago, but a year seems like, I dunno, something definitely changed and not sure exactly how to define it. Anyway, only thing left is clawing past the dead accounts to get to the top 100, which should take another 25 years.$5B: A journey Apr 27, 10:52
