The most important 2 things to remember as a new player are:
1) Wide releases adjust on the opening weekend based on a formula shown in the Calendar, usually 2,7 times the announced weekend box office total This is the number you see in Monday;s paper or on the Sunday TV news.
2) MovieStocks delist on Mondays based upon the actual box office total as reported by ERC, on the 12th weekend of release for limited release movies, (generally the 80th day) and the 4th weekend of release for wide releases (>650 thieaters) . Some of these securities may have existed for many years, but the delist cashes them out.
