So, there are probably more opportunities to teach about markets focusing on Moviestocks. Maybe have students sign up, buy stocks and give recaps/reports on why they bought what they did? Strategy and idea generation are big in this game. Maybe have them learn a bit about it and then lay out their strategy and see who does the best? Also, simply learning how the market works is important for success.
Eyescovered's idea of starting a League is a good one.
Starbonds don't work like real bonds (income vs. volatility when compared to the real bond market), so that's why I didn't suggest using Starbonds as a teaching tool. The derivatives may be good to use in risk/reward teaching situations. Either the nominoptions or opening weekend options (put call and warrant).
Remember, a good understanding of Hollywood and what movies will do well will give anyone an advantage against someone that doesn't know or have a serious interest in movies.
Also be aware that simply spending more time on this site will ramp up someone's edge, as it has a steep learning curve!
