caps are because starbonds are too much easy/guaranteed money, and all you do by raising limits is let rookies grow their ports faster than
they deserve to be. caps have been in place along time and hundreds of thousands of players have managed. :)
you want faster growth? get better at the other, riskier aspects of the game.
