y rotation though. I've already seen several in the last few days, including one during American Idol plus a promotion for its previews that it aired tonight during Simpsons and those shows.
Besides all of that, marketing campaigns just don't need to be super-long anymore. Social media has sped up and changed the buzz game, especially with films that have a built-in appeal using fan-favorite names like Spielberg and Abrams.
Also, I think there's an argument for a conservative marketing campaign being a good sign. If the studio doesn't feel the need to go "all in" with an expensive campaign on a project headlined by Spielberg and Abrams, it would show a ton of confidence in the film's long-term prospects from studio's POV.
