Closed set? The entire city of Pittsburgh? This production is already making life miserable throughout downtown Pittsburgh

Getting four and five blocks of a city shut down a clip on weekdays seems a reasonable accommodation.  Oakland (the university district) was a wreck for a week (although most classes were over).  Now the Magnus Rex crew has moved to downtown Pittsburgh.  I suspect Pittsburgh has already been more acquiescent than most cities would be.

The Batcrew doesn't seem to be overly concerned about prying eyes.  They're leaving vehicles open for public inspection for extended periods, instead of using tarps or dragging equipment away from the public.

Some of the spectators have remarked that the principal actors are spending remarkably little time on the set.  Endless set-up, a number of doubles, action scenes without stars.  That may be common, but so far people report seeing all sorts of gadgetry and very few movie stars.  Nolan is apparently pacing about constantly, though.

Video of Batwing [BATM3] - posible spoiler (Why is so much of this production filmed in broad daylight for the world to see?) Antibody Aug 12, 14:41

Because the action is set in broad daylight {nm} gogreen Aug 12, 14:47

But Batman does his crime fighting at night! {nm} Antibody Aug 12, 14:51

if Bane is causing trouble during daytime Batman will not just wait around and let him {nm} jabroni2kz Aug 12, 15:03

or they will just convert a lot of these scenes to nighttime using a day/night filter {nm} jabroni2kz Aug 12, 15:04

They should shot on a closed set. See Hitler reacts to BATM3 set pics Antibody Aug 12, 15:09

I meant shoot at night like The Dark Knight or shot on a lot like Avengers. This is an event film with the most spy photos in recent memory. Antibody Aug 12, 16:39

This is an inference, but at the least the Batfilmers do not appear to mind the "sneak" shots from this set {nm} DTXbro Aug 12, 17:11

That was hilarious. It should be a series. A different one every day could be easy and great,{nm} DTXbro Aug 12, 16:28

Ummmm...how was that even remotely a possible spoiler? OMG! Batman's driving down the road! It's the same as Bruce Willis being dead in...!! HNIF Aug 12, 15:20

Combined with the bottom photo, Antibody Aug 12, 15:27

A chase scene in a Batman movie?!?!?!? I don't believe it! {nm} onenil Aug 12, 18:24

yeah they probably are shooting day for night...and they must be keeping the really juicy stuff secret...*evil laugh* {nm} tealfan Aug 12, 16:00
