Chances are they moved the movie back so they'd have more time to promote it since Michelle Williams has been busy shooting Sam Raimi's movie and they probably couldn't get her again for interviews until after the release date... maybe they're gonna try to get Kenneth Branagh as well and that required having a window where they're available.  Shouldn't have any effect on Piranha (which is getting dumped) but it should have a positive effect on Marilyn.
