People put a lot more weight behind First Choice, but Awareness and Definite Interest are more important IMO
First choice is only good in a relative sense against other movies opening that week and in the weeks to come and the numbers change drastically as films are removed from tracking i.e. If a big movie like Sherlock Holmes is part of the tracking then it will weigh things too heavily so that other movies don't have a chance of getting a high First Choice number. Does that make sense? First Choice is judging all the movies being tracked against each otehr; Awareness/Interest is a singular thing that looks at a film's tracking on its own.
