Paul, I was just given a piano keyboard by my grandmother, and I have GarageBand on my Mac. To be able to put audio feed through from the keyboard to the computer so I can record it I'd just need a sound cable with a headphone jack-type socket to put into the input slot, wouldn't I? Or is there a particular cord that I need to buy to put into the keyboard? Also, what settings etc do you think would be best for recording straight from the keyboard to the computer?

It depends on the type of keyboard you have, but yeah, a cable that has the appropriate male/female plugs should do the trick. Jan 28, 07:43
