NYILU am I missing the expectations here on a limited release

Paris, je t'aime did south of 5mm.  Are we really expecting a 4 fold increase on this apparent copy.  A major market release in october from vivendi.  I could see this maybe do well in NY, and I understand there are about 50 stars attached to the movie (yeah bond adjust, boo commission), but without a knock it out of the park weekend high psa, I cannot see this do anywhere near 17mm even if it spreads over 12 weeks.  Opens second week of couples retreat and going into halloween horror fest.  A "romance" hardly seems like fair that will grab substantial audience in the few theatres it may grab initially.
