That was a very misleading or confusing post. Grammar is copy-pasting some user's post to the ERC wall, but it could seem like it's her own
comment (given that many browse the boards fast).
It could easily be read as 1,7 million for the 4 day, and the movie being at 9 million total (of all its run) after the 4 day.
What the post is actually saying is that TBEMH took in 1,7 million on Friday, and perhaps as much as 9 M for the 4 day. ERC answers the user, Linda Robertshaw, (that Grammar copy pasted the comment from) like this:
"$1.7M...and up to $9M over the 4-day. Not too shabby!"
(Of course, those who know TBEMH's numbers well, would hardly misread it, but I'm thinking most readers on these boards are not that familiar with TBEMH's performance so far, and thus some more accuracy in posting would be preferable. That people reading here are not getting it, is also evident in how little the stock is moving, in relative terms.)
