Posted by: TheFox on Aug 21, 23:02 in response to RotoHockeyYTD2012's post There is a .02 Commission on any Securities under 2.00....

the stock that is priced at .01 I place a limit order on at usualy end up at buying it at .02, and about 15% of the time .03. Then I'm charger $2000 commission.

Ie .02 costs $4000 for 100 000

.03 costs $5000 for 100 000

but they were still originaly priced at .01

Sorry but the commission is not what I'm inquring about it is the stock going up to .02 or .03 from .01.

Thanks Gavin

Ie

There is a .02 Commission on any Securities under 2.00. Purchasing a .01 Security will cost .03. <Inside>. RotoHockeyYTD2012 Aug 21, 22:44

Everything you say is right. I believe the complaint is that a real stock market *limit order* wouldn't work this way by definition. {nm} Abraxas Aug 21, 23:50

This isn't a real stock market. :) {nm} DTravel Aug 22, 16:08

The only way to get a stock for .01 now is to short it. :) {nm} Piaoliang Aug 22, 09:44

You can still buy at .01 (sometimes) but you have to buy in small chunks, 25,000 shares max and spaced over 5-10 min {nm} JDolphin Aug 22, 14:34
