As razorhawk pointed out below, the adjust question was discussed (and to my mind settled) on this board Friday afternoon.

Antibody's posts were clear, and were posted about 30 hours before the halt.  He posted around 12:45, and I see you posted something around 12:41.  It is true that the calendar was not updated before the halt to indicate what had been made clear elsewhere: that the adjust would depend as always on how ERC treated Thursday previews.

You would have a stronger case if the calendar said "2.7 * opening weekend."  But it doesn't; it said "2.7 * Fri-Sun."  Treating the R previews as ERC did is the best choice, and yes, it cost me money, too, as I held it long at adjust.

Here's Why The HSX (SUPR2) Adjust Decision Was A Bad Decision - (INSIDE). RotoHockeyYTD2013 Jun 16, 17:07

I hope it happens but I know that it will not; odd that I missed the thread will viewing SUPR2. I don't want charity I truly believe damenchipguy Jun 16, 17:14

Here's the explanation - they had to wait until today to see how ERC reported the whole weekend. Now, lets move on. {nm} Moviesnob Jun 16, 17:19

ERC does not determine how the box office is reported (the movie studios do) RazorHawk Jun 16, 19:10

Retroactive changes have happened before - this time it hit you, suck it up and move on like the rest of us had to in the past {nm} JDolphin Jun 16, 18:14

If you are going to go strictly by the calendar and rules, then maybe the 12 mil shouldn't count at all in the adjust (reasoning inside) JDolphin Jun 16, 18:27

Exactly. {nm} eyescovered Jun 17, 04:06

Did the average player even know about this WalMart Presale? No. And all it's doing is over inflating theater business for the weekend. hankquinlan Jun 16, 21:52

*shrug* That's the way it goes. I'm ready to move on. {nm} mrbeankc Jun 16, 22:02

so are you saying Thursday should now be considered part of the weekend?...that would be a whole change of policy {nm} tealfan Jun 16, 22:27

Regardless profit or loss, the Rules shouldn't be changed retroactively. Period. {nm} yenchex Jun 16, 22:35

That was the exact Point. {nm} RotoHockeyYTD2013 Jun 17, 05:33
