I use the simple method that states a weekends gross is equal to the following 7 days gross and then make adjustments for genre/audience

Posted by: Mist (a.k.a Shrike) on Dec 05, 18:24 in response to Vashta Nerada's post I'll stand by my BLSDS numbers, but I don't expect many...

By ERC numbers. Twilight this weekend is around 15m for a total of 155m, plus the 15 for total by next weekend at 170 delist then minus a million or 2 to represent some of the worst legs ever. For Blindside its a 21m weekend for 130 total. Adding the 21 is 151m total pus in this case i add a million or 2 on to represent some of the strongest legs ever and we get $153m delist. My grump with your numbers was that you did the exact opposite to that, you held the number for the front loaded twilight steady at 270 and yet for some reason subtracted $5m from the strong legged Blindside and that makes no sense. Twilight will have one of the lowest delist multis ever and Blindside one of the highest ever for a 3000+ screener so why go high on twilight and lowball blindside?

so DMac is moderating the projected delists hmm Dec 05, 12:38

I think the more impressive thingy to look at is that HSX is moderating the boards on a Saturday {nm} RazorHawk Dec 05, 12:54

are you saying that speculation on delists with logical math should also be banned? sneak Dec 05, 13:11

and to my point [BLDSD] runoff posted a while ago sneak Dec 05, 13:14

Hey I mentioned your post in the post above. Works for me you took a shot and put yourself out there. Vashta Nerada Dec 05, 17:34

and here on [TWLI2] sneak Dec 05, 13:20

good question hmm Dec 05, 15:03

I think the issue here is that the numbers given in the offending posts were clearly wrong and may have scared people who didnt want to Mist Dec 05, 15:23

I'll stand by my BLSDS numbers, but I don't expect many people were expecting the fall off a cliff of TWLI2 and all of my revisions where in Vashta Nerada Dec 05, 17:47

so all we need now is for D.Mac hmm Dec 05, 18:20

Showing your math. {nm} Antibody Dec 06, 11:07

are there some typos you wish to correct in your message here in terms of numbers {nm} hmm Dec 05, 18:42

Yeah but you already auto corrected them on-the-fly didnt you? 155 and 170 = 255 and 270, there you go. {nm} Mist Dec 05, 18:46

Well duh! We got new numbers today. And they were worse then the numbers I was using. Everybody should adjust on the fly when there is new Vashta Nerada Dec 05, 20:07

But it some of those strongest legs where fueled by Holiday. Which isn't in effect now, but I probably should have bumped my hold Vashta Nerada Dec 05, 19:29

Out of curiosity, are there forum rules posted somewhere that I'm not seeing with regards to what can and can't be posted? {nm} NotASenator Dec 05, 13:43

yes {nm} mickpix Dec 05, 17:18
