American Gangster only broke even. BOTH Scott brothers have been off the mark for the better part of a decade.

Variety: Surprise! Screen Gems moves "Takers" [TAKER] to 5/14/2010 (opens against [LJULT ]and [RBNHD]) Peterlee Dec 22, 11:08

Looks like Summit and Screen Gems are clearly aren't afraid of RBNHD... {nm} Peterlee Dec 22, 11:09

or they like RBNHD will move. The trailer and poster just say 2010. {nm} Antibody Dec 22, 11:11

Before Star Trek, May Week 2 was a death weekend... lotsa bombs opened that weekend. Remember Mindhunters? {nm} secretstalker Dec 22, 11:14

I Have A Feelng That Letters To Juliet Will Be Moved Up A Week Too. But It's Not RH They Should Fear It's IM2. wrongturn687 Dec 22, 11:28

It just moved back a week from May 7 to 14. {nm} Antibody Dec 22, 11:29

Either way it's still gonna get screwed by IM2. I don't see it drawing in that much of an audience since the female lead isn't a B.O draw. P {nm} wrongturn687 Dec 22, 11:40

I'm betting less than 10mill Opening Weekend. {nm} wrongturn687 Dec 22, 11:42

Made of Honor opened to $15 million last year with similar starpower. {nm} Antibody Dec 22, 11:50

Black Hawk Down was sumthin-sumthin'... Regarding RBNHD, there's some wild divergencies in prices on attached bonds, and the movie price Facto Dec 22, 13:49

R. Scott's four 100m plus grossing flims have been in the last 9 years for four different studios. Before that, lotta flicks I love but not Catzan Dec 22, 14:32

The second weekend in May almost always has an urban audience targeting film that never really does anything but.... notfabio Dec 22, 14:25
