Visually amazing, but, geez, that man cannot write dialogue to save his life.
The initial bantering between Jake and Grace in particular was painfully cliche-ridden. On another film, that would have been thrown out and rewritten the next day. But who's going to tell that to Cameron? The film's beautiful to look at, though.
