Actually, I'd argue it might've helped for "Spy." "Susan Cooper" would've been a dreadfully generic title. With Spy, you know what it is.
Susan Cooper: Flower Shop Owner.
Susan Cooper: Olivia Pope's Rival Law Firm.
Susan Cooper: Sarah Conner's Prior-Unbeknownst Niece.
I had the same issue with "Michelle Darnell," but in the age of "Horrible Bosses" and "Boss Baby" and blah blah blah, I'm not so sure "The Boss" (or "Spy," in retrospect) has enough emphasis on what's different about this film.
