Should be a good thing - I lost some of my respect for AFUQU after the inane ending of Shooter. (Possibly slight spoiler)

I enjoyed it pretty much up to the last 15 mins. I also enjoyed most of Training Day, although the ending there as well hinted at the conspiratorial paranoia, cynicism and lack of realism that marred Shooter's final chapter(s) so badly..

I'm not sure whether he just doesn't handle suspension of disbelief good enough, or his problem is lack of artistic integrity towards the demands from the powers that be (the movie producers)
