So Who Saw What Last Week? (me - The Crazies: B-, The Invention of Lying: C-, Extract: C-)
The Crazies: Pretty good, although went on too long (not time-wise, more the seemingly endless stream of situations the survivors kept getting in to)
Side note (mild spoiler): I always laugh at movies like this where supposedly the goverment can mobilize the containment of a whole city, with detention camps, labs, even putting boots on every vehicle in just a few hours! Just ask New Orleans residents about the speed of our govt
Invention of Lying: Movie has a audacious almost inflammatory high concept but then decides to play it safe as a gooey romantic comedy.
Side note (large spoiler): Really? Religion as a lie created to appease mindless idiots and no churches complained? wow ;)
Extract: Not bad, just too random and aimless to be funny.
