it. So I doubt that Paramount was feeding record breaking numbers to the LA Times. If anything, they do their best to underrate their movies and down play the estimates so that their film has a better chance of beating expectations and appearing like a success. Patrick Goldstein does a great article about this very subject infact, but i can't seem to find it.
