There are a bunch of racists in America that sadly do not want to see people of color highlighted in film or "are not interested" in seeing that as the nicest way to put it. It is already down to 6.8 on IMDB as people can watch from home and here is a wonderful, random review giving it a 1/10:
"Dreary with endless, awful music
Anthony Ramos stars in this hodgepodge of stereotypes ... yes stereotypes. Even if they are positive portrayals, there's nothing new here. A wants to go back to the islands, B wants to move uptown, C doesn't fit in at college and wants to come home, D fought hard to fit in back in the day.
It's a la la land where everyone has a dream and sings toneless rap music. It's a "barrio" free of drugs and booze and crime.
It's all too big and loud, and that doesn't make it any good; it only makes it big and loud."
Hollywood can move for inclusion...but a lot of the population is still a few decades behind......
