It's kind of unfair to change the rules after theaters have already agreed on the window.
I mean, Warners putting Suicide Squad on HBO Max literally at 7pm Thursday didn't cut into the people who already had bought tickets and were in theaters Thursday night but it probably destroyed the rest of the weekend. I think really the only fair thing these days is what Universal/Focus are doing with windows between 18 and 45 days.
