I think the current state of 3D is one of the bigger issues it faces, they should do "James Cameron Returns" promo events through 2022.
Start doing IMAX DMR releases of past James Cameron films like ALIENS, THE ABYSS, TRUE LIES show an exclusive AVATAR 2 tease with each one (if they can finagle TERMINATOR 1 & 2 and TITANIC even better. Disney worked out a deal to include THE INCREDIBLE HULK for the various Avengers marathons)
