If I understand the THR article correctly...
...they didn't spend enough on it to be good enough for theater, but spent too much on it to expect to make a profit in streaming.
So, Warner, just fix the problems that were flushed out in the one test screening and release it to the theater. Don't be afraid of reshoots. Marvel isn't. You've got good resumes (albeit short resumes) from your directors and leading lady. You could possibly make a ton on a $90M film!
