Kasdan originally wrote it in 1976 for Steve McQueen and Diana Ross. that was always his intention, fwiw {nm} donny blaze Nov 26, 01:36

Interesting. SMcQ & DR age diff in '76: 14 yrs, KCos & WH in '92: 8-9 yrs. Kasdan also wanted to make it inter-generational perhaps? {nm} Tallwonder Nov 26, 06:43

Um... 14 years isn't quite a generation. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Nov 26, 07:25

In sociological/other fields of study 20 yrs was the definition of 1 generation in the 20th Cent. when it was used more often (more inside) Tallwonder Nov 26, 08:03

20 is an adult, 14 is still a teenage child. Big difference. {nm} Antibody Nov 26, 08:17

The warning was to the people on the next film she would be in WeAreTeamDemo Nov 26, 15:15
