Depends on if Angel Studios can get away with it yet again (they have done it on their past releases) now that this has blown up
I'd expect the majors either to complain and or try to knock it off themselves for their faith based projects. Which will burnout the crowd who has been paying it forward. Also this puts a giant target on Angel Studios for an audit.
The Shift is a low budget sci-fi film and not based on a hot topic, Sound of Freedom was originally produced for 20th Century. Of course even a fraction of Sound of Freedom's biz is an absolute home run (20+) for The Shift.
