Should just look forward to MISS8 now & ensure he doesn't get trapped by rival blockbusters taking up premium screens again
Unfinished production on MISS8 could be a blessing in disguise. 1 - it was too soon after MISS7, < a year later & 2 - it's scheduled for release a week before July 4th double header of DESM4 & LION2 ..which while not the same audience (BARBENHEIMER also had a small overlap only) would again take away screens (& families). MISS7 would've done 200m+ easy (might still eventually) if it wasn't boxed in & MISS8 also should if its planned better.
A move away due to production might get it a better date to go full steam. Having said that most of TCRUI bigger hits have been in the summer, including all MI movies except MISS4 in Dec so he may not like that. Perhaps 2025 summer, especially if Marvel slate moves.
I can hear the TCRUI calls to exhibs now. AMC is now giving 1000 bonus points for MISS7 ticket purchases 7/25 - 7/30. Jul 26, 09:36
