IMO, *THIS* might be more telling...
"As of yesterday, there were over 4,200 showtimes “sold out” per EntTelligence out of 13,000 showtimes or 32% which is massive for the first evening of a tentpole at the B.O. Do you know how many showtimes were “sold out” on Barbie‘s first night of previews? 500"
Then again... that may be 4,200 showtimes sold out across the entire weekend or across the movie's entire run, NOT 4,200 specifically on Friday night. That would be an insane number of Barbie had 500 sold-out previews and brought in $22 million. I'd like to know how many Barbie showtimes were sold out its opening weekend, please.
