OK. So it didn't do 150. It didn't do 100. So now, what are the predictions for the second weekend hold of TSTET?
How's it going to do next weekend? What percentage of the Taylor Swift fandom is going back for repeated viewings? We already know that the movie is largely not going to be attracting people that are not distinct fans of Swift.
So: what kind of drop is she looking at? And, if it's significant, how will the media handle that?
As an example: let's say repeat viewing turns out to be minimal, and the number goes way, WAY down. Will we see the same number of "the worst drop in box office.....etc" as we're seeing about the success and amounts of the box office this first weekend?
Interested to see if Swift were to get a pass or not on that. And who knows, perhaps the fanbase will come out for repeated viewings, just as fans of other franchises come out repeatedly.
What will the overall drop off be?
