A little about me...

Been a member for a long time - though off and on until early last year (2023). I was recruited by an old college friend, and we are old time film fans (he's a noir, Bogart fan - I'm a 1950's sci-fi nerd). About March 2023 I picked up the gauntlet again - and wanted to make a run at catching up to my friend in his league (just a couple of other friends). It was roughly when Barbenheimer was becoming a thing that I discovered (by reading the ****in' manual / FAQ / etc.) how starbonds actually work (with some bumps along the way). Since then, been in a never-ending struggle to catch up to him. Encouraged by doubling my portfolio's value this past year (mostly since June - though the 'purge' in July - when release dates really got moved around - put a huge dent in it).
