Netflix released a Directors Commentary version of GLASS ONION about a month after the regular release, didn't seem to move the needle much,
but I'm sure that was a making talent happy vs something Netflix was serious about.
In theory the SNYDERCUT is a late in the run bump/promotional tool for Pt 2, depending on when they actually release it.
Netflix primarily cares about the first 28 days, so it'll be interesting to see if they rush out the Snydercut in two weeks or wait at least a month or go even longer. If they release in just two weeks, they definitely are in panic mode. Release may also be tied into some kind of additional theatrical event possibly with IMAX since February is very slim.
