For me, when i saw the ESPN 15 minute thing about this event, I was touched, but it also seemed like enough.
Obviously others felt this could be stretched into a full length feature film. I agree, if i hear a movie is getting tested alot, that usually tells me something.
Personally, I'm a sucker for dog flicks. I love my dogs and all my pets like little else on the planet. Like most people. And I love animal performances in the movies (we've been lucky the last several years in that regard). But there's such a fine line between laying on the schmaltz and making a good film. And then, does it work for the general public.
