The most likely scenario is they just do what they did on AHSOKA, one night only event screenings in the top film markets of the first two episodes.
There is a very small chance they could do something like the Yellowstone episodes and screen it in 200 or less theatres nationwide.
Significantly larger releases would disqualify it from Emmy consideration. That AMC/etc are agreeing to show the ACOLYTE preview
with EPISODE I (and PROMOTE that they are) gives a little bigger of a chance they may be thinking of something.
Would be cool if they can work something out.
