This will seem geeky but thinking about this, the premium on a $2m+ life insurance for a hitman would be HUGE!

So unless he takes it out just before the contract assuming he wont need to make too many premium payments its still fine, else that's a huge payment to make a couple of years.
He could of course have another profession as a cover, like a laundry guy (sic).

But if the policy was taken a few years earlier, he could get ADB (accelerated death benefit) payouts for his gf while he's alive. On the other hand if taken recently, it'd need to be a No Exam policy else med checkup would likely show his terminal disease. This plan ain't easy to execute (pun intended).
