Based on the novel of the same name, THE AMATEUR follows a CIA cryptographer played by Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, No Time to Die) who, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes clear they won’t act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself.
THE AMATEUR also stars Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Patriots Day), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander, Ford vs. Ferrari), Michael Stuhlbarg (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, The Post) and Laurence Fishburne (John Wick Chapter 4, All the Old Knives).
