Grammy winning icon and two-time Oscar® nominee Pharrell Williams (Hidden Figures, this fall’s Piece by Piece) joins forces with Oscar® winner Michel Gondry, the daring, visionary filmmaker of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Science of Sleep for an extraordinary musical expedition into the summer of 1977 and the Virginia Beach neighborhood inspired by the Atlantis Apartments of Williams’ childhood.

Directed by Michel Gondry from a screenplay by Martin Hynes (Toy Story 4) and the Tony award winning writer of Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen and the film adaptation of Jonathan Larson’s tick, tick … BOOM! Steven Levenson, the film features songs by Pharrell Williams, and the Tony, Oscar and Grammy winning team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman, La La Land) and is produced by Pharrell Williams, Emmy winner Mimi Valdés (executive producer of Hidden Figures and the series Harlem) and two-time Best Picture Oscar® nominee Gil Netter (Life of Pi, The Blind Side).
