The biggest benefit for HSX is that its dynamic every second of everyday. When I controlled the forecast at Alamo, HSX was the backbone of
it, but HSX tends to over predict smaller films (things that will do under $500k at the box office would still have an HSX forecast of several million) which I needed to manually adjust for. Its predictive market is largely under the influence of a very specific demographic so that can skew movies where the prime audience is outside that demo.
