i definitely didn't remember that this movie is meant as the start of a series.
because it gets to the end and it isn't a cliffhanger so much but it's very similar to Kevin Costner's Horizon where it shows scenes from the series than it urges you to pay it forward so you can watch the first episode of the series. That's really annoying that it isn't a movie with a beginning, middle, end.
