"Jason Statham stars as a man who is pulled back into his violent past."
This is literally the description of almost EVERY movie that's ever had Statham in its lead role.
I imagine they copy theĀ previous script & then do 'Replace All' in the editor & then change his job (eg 'car driver' with 'bookie' or 'beekeeper'), his location (LA with Toronto), the bad guy (drug dealer with Chinese mafia) and so on.
Don't even need to change the description when announcing a movie. They cost on avg $25-30m & on avg turn a small profit (every once in a while there's sharks off the coast of a Chinese island that increase the profits).
