AVENGERS ENDGAME or NO WAY HOME level bonkers and I would (again) guess this doesnt exactly make Sarandos happy. If anything, someone might be able to convince him that flipping the script (pay 1 then theatrical) is netflix level disruption and that might be something to emulate but if I was a theater, I wouldn't go for it - but they are playing Netflix stuff this year so...


I still think anything with Netflix attached is a no go for AMC and if their position with studios is really a return to hard windows, they cant really do stuff like this at all and then tell Uni or Warner or Disney they have to have a hard exclusive again.

As i said, KPOP DEMON HUNTER is like nothing else. Its about to be the biggest Netflix movie of all time and its decay curve is a straight 2:1 line with no tail off. Nothing on Netflix has ever done that since they made their views public. You cant really build a strategy off it for anything except maybe KPOP DEMON HUNTER 2 (3,4,5,6, etc)
