Kokuho: A+ -- WOW! Performances, cinematography, the score (!!), the story.. this was one of the best movies I've seen in awhile
Finally came to Austin and surpassed even my best expectations. The entire time I was completely rapt. The fact this is only nominated in the makeup and hairstyling is a real shame because every facet of this movie is exquisite. I genuinely cannot believe there were no acting nominations for this film. I really wish they had done the IMAX screening here because seeing that on an even bigger screen must have been an indelible experience.
