There is little doubt that Paramount Skydance will make massive cuts to WBD operations for the sake of de-leveraging the balance sheet. If all goes as planned, the company will carry a debt ratio of nearly 7 times its annual earnings — a huge red flag for credit agencies and many investors. Paramount has pledged to swiftly cut its debt-to-earnings ratio down to 4.4 times earnings, which means finding billions of dollars in cost savings from the jump.
