I personally think is the wrong call. A full Magento movie or movies like Wolverine could have made things interesting.

I don't like the idea of having just part of it instead of a full story that will develope the character.

Also it kind of destroy the possibilities of similar character development movies for other mutants. By doing this merger the only thing it does is guaranntee that this movie will be it for x-mens (quiet convinient for producer and director since it will make more difficult for a challenger to improve on their work). While I watched the first 3 movies and were ok to watch I personally thing that they just **** up the original story so a well done reboot sound it nice.

Let's remember that in the last movie the kill Scott and Jean Grey the ones that will father the new and improve mutant race. Rogue never took the power to flight not to mention her origin. and so on...
