holding right, it's the mitigation is if you are holding wrong. You get to mitigate your damage not your profits.

Why halt at all? You are now down to a 15 hour window where you can't trade. It's pretty much useless at that point except on a massive miss by HSX traders where there just aren't enough people to move it the full distance. By mid-morning Saturday you are down to guess if the estimates are right, By by 6PM everybody will have taken a position.

What pis*ses me off is that the old system if I guess right on a blockbuster those that guess wrong get to fix their mistakes. That is a big loss in advantage to those that go against the general consensus or the tracking. You really don't need skill now to play the openers or really worry if you are wrong. You just have to be out here when the numbers are posted and be good and quick at math, and you are golden. Works for me. and that boost to 100K shares.

The down side are erronious posts by people that can't do math, or make wrong assumptions will move this market massive before others can type up a rebuttal. I can see manipulation big time on the weekends.

D.Mac should put in effect show your math and explain your assumptions or have your post deleted but by then the damage might be done already.

They want to be more like the market but even Wall Street sleeps on the weekend. The halt gives people a bit of a breather, and the reduced trading on the weekends allows people to go do other things like see movies without worrying about what is going on in your port. With the Friday halt you take your position and you don't worry about it, except for those that have the attached starbonds or holiday warrents etc. It's a done deal. Like there aren't enough a*sholes checking their phones every 2 minutes in the theaters, now we get HSXers with smart phones playing during the movie.
