So far, it seems like one trade of 75,000 shares can move a stock 15 cents.
This means that for a stock to drop $7, it would have to have 3.7 million shares reversed from long to short. Unfortunately, I didn't record the numbers when the stock was up $2 so I have no idea if indeed that many people panicked and sold off/reversed short, but I find this amount of volatility questionable, especially with a relatively low-priced stock which MAGIC is.

When I checked this morning there were ~ 1m shorts and ~45m longs Nov 28, 10:03
Looking at the numbers you report, it does make some sense. Longs grew by 25%. Shorts grew by 150%. {nm} Nov 28, 10:22
