He only ever posts about moviecriticassassins, which no one on the boards had heard of before he started posting

Posted by: RogerMore on Mar 18, 15:22 in response to secretstalker's post Who are you referring to? I don't think VictorY is with...

It's not that I mind him posting the site's predictions every week. But his shilling is just so transparent, and he doesn't want to engage on anything else.

Plus, he keeps comparing his site to Rope of Silicon, which is one of the loopiest prediction sites around. By loopiest, I mean they predicted MacGruber would make $20m OW. And $18M for JOHEX.

True battle this week for #1. Boxoffice, Rope predict "LImitless,' MCA says "Battle LA," (links inside). VictorY Mar 18, 14:27

What happened last weekend when MCA had the worst prediction for BATLA? ;) {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 14:32

Not really, all sites were close and MCA had two exact calls. Just check my stock ranking using them. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 14:36

MCA was only close on GWRRH at 15M , they predicted mars to make 12M, which is almost 100 percent off 6.8M weekend {nm} karspov Mar 18, 14:45

Seriously??? He had "Rango," and "Adjustment Bureau," exact box office numbers and missed GWRRH by one. That's pretty good. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 14:53

Predicting box office for movies already in release is relatively easy. Picking openers is where you prove yourself {nm} RogerMore Mar 18, 14:57

"Sure," it is, (wink, wink), whatever you say. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 14:59

Step 1: figure out a % drop based on genre, target audience, reviews. Step 2: subtract % drop from last week's OW figure. RogerMore Mar 18, 15:03

That's "if," there's a drop, or if its a small one. Good reviewed films flop all the time. That's why I use these sites. They're consistent. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:08

99% of films drop. Everyone can see that. {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 15:11

Wait, no 100 percent??? So "your'e saying there's a chance."...... {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:14

Yea, even a broken clock is right twice a day. {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 15:16

You mena "Yeah," right? Always fun, antibody. I could follow them and increase my stocks or follow you and work on spelling. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:18

What's mena? {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 15:21

You mean "mean," right? Always fun to point out spelling errors, while misspelling words at the same time. {nm} lapuckfan Mar 18, 15:22

I was being sarcastic, you guys obviously missed the joke there... {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:30

Jokes are usually funny {nm} RazorHawk Mar 18, 15:34

On a final note, when the site is good ,people will notice ,u don't have to worry about the web traffic even if u forget to link for a week {nm} karspov Mar 18, 15:39

...unless it's a 24-hour clock {nm} yesum Mar 18, 17:50

LOL... Good one. {nm} VictorY Mar 19, 02:35

Make your decision which of the 3 sites does best and link it , because when the numbers differ weekly, one is bound to be near the actual B {nm} karspov Mar 18, 15:08

I mean actual box office {nm} karspov Mar 18, 15:09

He only cares about shilling his site, and bragging about it when he gets it right. {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 15:09

Who are you referring to? I don't think VictorY is with any of the three sites he linked. {nm} secretstalker Mar 18, 15:17

Victor is the box office predictor of MCA {nm} RazorHawk Mar 18, 15:19

Nice, So why wasn't there bragging about " I was way off on mars , but lucky I had riding hood to talk about how close i was " {nm} karspov Mar 18, 15:24

He is the only one who mentions MCA, a site no one has ever heard of. {nm} Antibody Mar 18, 15:20

Plus he had 2 former mulits that he used to astroturf and promote the MCA site (link inside) RazorHawk Mar 18, 15:23

This again, Razor how am I "multiple accounts," when all your listed entries say "VictorY," NEWS FLASH, I'm VictorY today as I was then. {nm VictorY Mar 19, 02:55

He only ever posts about moviecriticassassins, which no one on the boards had heard of before he started posting RogerMore Mar 18, 15:22

They claim I used to be in a "league," some time ago (yeah, right) and since I first brought up MCA that I'm somehow "astroturf," for them. VictorY Mar 19, 02:50

True. I like to average a couple of them also. If they differ, I usually go halfway between the range between their calls. Works for me. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:10

I'm up over 24 percent this month alone.... Love them... {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:11

Okay, so after averaging out on the predictions from the 3 sites this week , what's your own calculated prediction for this 3 openers ? {nm} karspov Mar 18, 15:16

Looks like.... "Limitless," at 15, "Lawyer," at 12, and "Paul," at 10. {nm} VictorY Mar 18, 15:37

"he" is the worst misspelling of "I" that I have ever seen {nm} Bramble Mar 18, 14:57

Oh , I thought you were mentioning about 2 close calls from last week , so it's a cumulative attempt , that will do ;) {nm} karspov Mar 18, 14:59

I think all these sites are trippin'. Everyone is overrating LMTLS. BATLA and RANGO are going to be #1, #2. No opener ovr 14. {nm} lhayes37 Mar 18, 16:47
