With Jeff Bridges in negotiations to play the key role of the Spook, aka Master Gregory, the lead roles of Tom and Alice have started to heat up, with helmer Sergei Bodrov conducting screen tests this week as well as assessing the chemistry between the contenders.

Thesps expected to test for the role of Tom include Sam Claflin, Caleb Landry-Jones and James Frecheville, while Imogen Poots, Felicity Jones, Alicia Vikander, Gabrielle Wild and Dianna Agron will test for the role of Alice. Neither Legendary and Warner Bros. would confirm.
