Now having agreed with Bruce McGill needing a bond and attachment for ABE, please explain the attachment of DOYEL (minor spoils )
DOYEL only appears in the opening scene, reciting the final lines of the Gettysburg address. What criterion was used to attach him in the first place? He is one of the first on the scroll after principals as he was one of the first speakers in order of appearance.
Also, if just being on the scroll were a criterion, KKLIN had a cameo as "wonded soldier"
His name is not on the list of performers prior to the main scroll and he is way down on that list. More screen time, but maybe fewer real lines, is Gloria Reuben from ER, not bonded, listed right after the actor who played Tad Lincoln/
ALso from TV land are Walton Goggins (The Sheild) , Gregory Itzin (24 and The Mentalist) and S. Epatha Merkerson (practically last on the scroll) from "ching-ching" Law & Order, in a great surprise moment.
