A bond's value is the average of the total box of the last five movies. This means each movie accounts for 20% of the TAG (Trailing average gross, something like that) An adjust replaces the oldest (and in the case of 2 or more movies opening the same weekend, the cheapest goes out first) with the newest movie that just delisted.
So, it comes as a surprise to some, but you don't have to know what the grosses are for the other movies, all the info you need is in the current tag and the oldest movie to be removed. An adjust will be 20% of the difference of the new movie that replaces the old movie. Five bucks of movie gross is one bucks worth of TAG. A 100m movie replaced by a 50m movie will have a tag 10$ less.
a few details that can mess up your figures. There is a 250 cap to any one movie, so a mega hit like Titanic only counts as 250 or 50bucks worth of TAG.
wides delist at the 4th weekend, limiteds run for 12 so you can have a movie adjust for something that is in the middle of the list of movies on the bond's info page.
bonds with 4 movies or less are obviously not adjusted for five, however a bond with only 2 movies is averaged for 3, which means the 3rd movie is a strange FREE money adjust as the 3rd movie is added to the TAG and cannot adjust down.
